Café Diagnosis: Year 1 & 2 (Factual, 2018-2020)

Café Diagnosis

Café Diagnosis was a series of creative workshops, that led to several immersive installation performances across Manchester. These two factual films document the first and second 'Café' courses.

Film 1: This 14-minute documentary highlights the making of (ahem, "baking of") this vital project. Funded through the Manchester Wellbeing Fund, Terry Corbett began Café Diagnosis, ran by service users, for service users, to challenge stigma within society and ourselves. The 10 week course on being creative through writing, drama and filmmaking began in May 2018 and the graduation ceremony was held in July.

Film 2: This 12-minute follow up film details the second Café Diagnosis course, which led to two performances - a Christmas show in December 2019

& a Valentine's Day show on February 14th 2020.

Film 1 & 2: Written & Narrated by Terence J Corbett / Filmed & Edited by Mark Duggan.

Voice-Over for 'Film 1' recorded at Black Dog Recording Studio (Manchester).
